Hi! My name is Murphy Kearney and I am a fourth-year student at the University of Cincinnati where I am pursuing a major in Interior Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH right down the street from campus, but my family moved to Connecticut for my mom's career when I was 15. What drew me to UC was the top-tier interior design program and the college campus atmosphere. Not only was I coming back to the place I grew up, but I feel like I have truly found my home, especially in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning.
Welcome to my portfolio showcasing my academic and professional interior design work. As an interior design student, I strive to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Whether it's a residential or commercial project, my goal is to create an environment that reflects the client's style and branding while also meeting their practical needs. In addition to my design work, I am also passionate about furniture design, graphic design, and photography. restaurant’s U.S. expansion, ensuring alignment with design vision and durability requirements. Created detailed FF&E drawings in AutoCAD for accurate design communication and standards compliance. Reviewed project submittals for design intent and specification adherence. Developed high-quality Revit models for a prominent Las Vegas project.

Led material sourcing and specification efforts for a luxury boutique resort, ensuring the selection of high-quality materials aligned with the project’s upscale design vision. Developed high-quality 3D renderings using SketchUp and Enscape to clearly articulate design intent for internal reviews and client presentations.

Created 3D renderings in Revit and Enscape for client presentations, effectively communicating design intent. Collaborated on construction documentation and implementation drawings for various projects.
